Calathea Roseopicta

Calathea has lovely leaves with a large band of pink flare around the leaf borders and a pink vein running through the middle of the leaf. Dark green to nearly black are the main foliage colors. The leaves undersides are burgundy. It has leaves that resemble medallions and has a similar appearance to Calathea 'Dottie,' but the color is more vivid. Calatheas, which are native to the Amazon rainforest, prefer warm temperatures, high humidity, and diffuse, dappled light to thrive. Pet-safe plants include caladenias.
